Suitable for anyone who works in an
environment with people who suffer from anaphylaxis in
their care. eg. teachers, youth leader and parents.
This course fulfils the core
competencies of the administration of an Epipen
Auto-injector as laid down by Anaphylaxis Australia.
Students gain a basic awareness of
Anaphylaxis and competence in the administration of an
Epipen Auto-injector.

Syllabus
- Delegates perform workshop tasks with
the equipment provided in their syndicates as part of
the core competencies.
- How to recognise the components of
Anaphylaxis
- How to identify the core components
in the administration of an Epipen auto-injector as
- The practical application of
administering an Epipen on a student’s thigh as laid
down by the Anaphylaxis campaign
